When Bobby and Stevie
said they wanted to elope in the backcountry, I was so excited to see which location they would pick. They worked with a wedding planning company called Wedy to choose a place that their entire family was able to access via jeeps. They rented about ten jeeps from Cliffhanger, a rental service in Telluride, Colorado. It worked out perfectly, and all the family and friends made their way up to the wedding ceremony location just outside of Ouray, Colorado.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple wanted to get some portraits up at the top of Cinnamon pass. We had a great time running around and getting some stunning shots of them with an epic Colorado backdrop. Stevie had a beautiful bouquet from Lady Southwest, a local flower farmer in Cortez, Colorado. Lady Southwest does weddings, elopements, and beautiful bouquets and installs.
We continued the drive down toward Silverton and found the most beautiful blue stream to get some wedding portraits by.
We finished the night with a magical picnic by Farm to Fingers and hiked around to find the best sunset spot. Stevie's beautiful dress from David's twirled magically. It was a perfect day.
